The crouch position in first person shooters consists of the player bending his knees to lower his vertical profile, in exchange for a slightly larger horizontal profile.
In Insurgency, players can go into the crouch position by pressing slide. However, while crouched, the player moves at a fraction of the speed of a standing player and they cannot jump.by default.
