The Galil SAR, also known as the G'lilon is a carbine configuration of the Galil, a family of assault rifles manufactured by Israel Military Industries. It has a shorter barrel than the original Galil, and also features a unique gas block.

The Galil SAR variant is an assault rifle featured in Insurgency, with a plastic handguard and a folding stock. It is the The Galil SAR combines a high rate of fire with low recoil, making it a very versatile and effective rifle at all ranges. It costs 3 supply points to equip.

Trivia Edit

  • While the weapon is mostly based off of the SAR model, it also shares some features with the ARM model, such as an ARM style stock, which is more vertical than the slightly angled SAR folding stock, used to accommodate the use of a bipod.
  • The SAR is classified as an assault rifle, although its shorter barrel technically makes it a carbine.
